THEAM=   “PANDAVS”

There are plenty of lessons one can learn from pandavs. Let’s put history to use and take a look at lessons to be followed in toastmasters as well as in life.

A speaker cannot be stopped if he is passionate about what he speaks...Arjun’s passion for archery and hunger for knowledge made him to grasp whatever came his way.

While evaluating any speaker, never make anyone feel undesirable (follow sandwich approach)… Arjun dismissed Urvashi and she cursed him to be eunuch for a year.

Unconditional support and loyal mentors can take you placesthe Pandavs had Lord Krishna who always backed them, no matter what.

With keeping this theme in mind a general meeting was organized in VIT toastmasters and it was initiated by SAA TM Anshul. After getting acquainted with the basic code of conduct of the meeting by SAA, the TMOD TM Dharamveer initiated the meeting.

Meeting at glance:

Table topic session conducted by TTM Rashi (rejuvenating the scene...when Pandavs were made to answer Yaksh… from Mahabharata)
An extra session was added to stimulate the aloof audience …The pairs were made to speak and enact simultaneously but one of them had to just speak with the hands at the back while the other person had to make gestures in accordance with the former’s words.
The meeting was attended by most of the members. All speakers gave their speeches efficiently as shown in satisfactory evaluation session. All the guests and members participated actively in table topic session. Members of VIT TOASTMASTERS family justified their projects beyond expectations.
